Foli Privacy Policy
Foli is a private creative-archive and publishing application. This policy explains how it handles information.
Information you add
Foli stores the projects, images, videos, metadata, credits, rights information, notes, layouts, documents, and other content you choose to add. This information is used to provide the app’s organization, editing, publishing, and export features.
Storage and iCloud
Your Foli library is stored on your device. If you enable iCloud synchronization in a release that supports it, Apple’s iCloud service stores and synchronizes the library within your iCloud account. Foli’s developer does not operate a separate server that receives your library.
Photos and files
Foli accesses only the photos and files you select or permissions you grant. Imported content is copied into Foli’s managed library. Foli does not modify the original content in your Apple Photos library.
On-device analysis
Foli may use Apple-provided on-device technologies to suggest categories, labels, people, places, image quality, captions, or filenames. This analysis is designed to run on the device and is not uploaded to Foli’s developer.
Maps, external apps, and sharing
Features you choose may use Apple Maps, the system Share sheet, or an external editor. Information is shared with those services only when needed for the action you request and is handled under their privacy terms.
Analytics, advertising, and tracking
Foli does not include third-party advertising, behavioral tracking, or developer-operated analytics in the current planned release. Foli does not sell personal information.
Retention and deletion
Your information remains until you delete it. Recently Deleted may retain recoverable content for up to 30 days. When iCloud synchronization is enabled, deletions may synchronize across devices according to Apple’s iCloud behavior.
